ALCOA: $215,000 - 1351 Dalton St., 3bd/2bth: Alcoa, TN is full of the old "company" houses. And I love the way people are making beautiful homes out of them with all of today's modern features and conveniences while also maintaining all the charm!! I photographed this adorable charmer this last week for Mary Parsons of Coldwell Bankers Wallace & Wallace, Realtors. I love that nook just inside the front door. The current owners are useing it as a home office - perfect!! But there are so many possibilities for this space - crafter's corner, reading nook, entry cubbies for each family memeber..... so many ideas! I also love that staircase in the dining room leading the upstairs bedrooms. There is just something about it that has so much charm! there has been a 2nd full bath added downstairs, a must for any home of 2 or more people these days! There is also another full bath upstairs between 2 of the bedrooms, which are large and has double closets. I'm loving the original 6 panel doors that have been kept throughout! And those floors, redone with dark stain!! Check out the large flat and fenced backyard with the covered patio on the side of the detached garage!! I know there is a buyer out there who will fall in love with this home as I did.

I had the opportunity to photograph this fabulous new listing for Matthew Peters of Solid Rock Realty. I love photographing a great rehab! They put granite on the counters and paired it with the large gray subway tile..... SHARP! That master suite is to die for!!!!! The vaulted ceiling with the dark wood beams really bring a "grandness" to the space. But then there's the fireplace!!! That's just fantasy come to life right there! I'm also loving that high wainscotting ..... doing that in my own home, I love it so much! Then there's the bath with the double sink vanity and the classic subway tile surround in the tub. I love that look! On the other side of the home are 2 more bedrooms and another bath. The outside space is just as great!! Loving that big covered front porch. The perfect spot for a swing and a cup of coffee to start, or end, the day. The big patio out back is a great spot for the grill when it's time to barbq. Then there's that large yard with the detatched garage toward the back of the property. I'm not a dude, but I image dudes will love that space. I can't wait to watch how fast this one goes!
